Doors Open Day 2024

On Sunday 22nd September 2024 12-4pm, we are having an event for Doors Open Day.
Andy Cuthbertson will take you on a journey through the History of the Garngad. Andy is Community Development Officer from RDT and has previously given historic tours for King Charles and delivered talks around the country.
N.B. The talk on Garngad history is now completely booked-up, but contact RDT to be added to the waiting list.

Visitors are welcome any time to wander around the park and see the mosaics and heritage panels – also on Sunday our friends at Spire View Housing Association will be launching the Garngad Photo Lab, a chance for you to have your old pictures digitised with their heritage team, and they’ll be hosting some brilliant family activities too.
by our friends at
Roystonhill Community Hub.

The Spire Park is free and open year-round, with historical interpretation panels that tell our building’s history and and beautiful new mosaics inspired by people’s stories and memories of the local area.
